At B.M. Franklin & Co., we uphold the highest standards of artisanal excellence. Each piece is meticulously crafted, and we stand behind the workmanship and quality of every hat that bears our name. Should your item not meet your expectations, you may contact us within fourteen (14) days of receipt to initiate an exchange or request in-store credit.
If your piece does not achieve the desired fit or finish, our team will make every reasonable effort to adjust or refine the item to your satisfaction. In the event that adjustments are not feasible, we will issue in-store credit valued at eighty-five percent (85%) of the original purchase price.
Please be advised that Custom, Made-to-Order, and Discounted pieces are created expressly for the client and, as such, are not eligible for refunds. These items may only be considered for adjustment or in-store credit in accordance with the terms above.
Please allow five (5) to seven (7) business days for the processing and shipment of Ready-to-Wear pieces. Once your order has been prepared for dispatch and a tracking number has been issued, you will receive an email notification promptly.
B.M. Franklin & Co. partners with the UNITED POSTAL SERVICE (UPS) as our preferred carrier for domestic shipments.
All brimmed hats are carefully packaged in a custom corrugated hatbox, designed to preserve the integrity of your piece and to serve as an elegant solution for both travel and long-term storage. Additional hatboxes may be purchased separately for $40 each.
Please allow a minimum of six (6) to eight (8) weeks from the date of purchase for the creation and completion of Custom and Made-to-Order pieces. These items are crafted individually and require dedicated time and attention from our artisans.
Expedited production may be available for an additional fee. Rush options are offered on a limited basis; please contact us directly for further information or availability.
When requesting a Made-to-Order item, we kindly ask that clients acknowledge and accept that each piece is handcrafted and inherently unique. As a result, subtle variations from the original design may occur and are considered both reasonable and indicative of the bespoke nature of our work.
Items valued at two hundred fifty dollars (USD $250) or less may be exchanged within fourteen (14) days of purchase. Please note that this policy excludes all Custom and Made-to-Order pieces, which are not eligible for exchange.
For items purchased online or received as a gift, clients may request an exchange by contacting us at info@bmfranklinco.com. Additional postage or handling fees may apply and will be assessed at our discretion.

Store credit will be issued within five (5) business days of receiving and inspecting an approved return. Credit will reflect the full value of the eligible merchandise, excluding all shipping costs.
B.M. Franklin & Co. reserves the right to amend or update these policies at any time. All decisions regarding exchanges, adjustments, and store credit are made at the discretion of B.M. Franklin & Co. and are considered final.
